WeLCoMe PRoSPErOUS 2007!!!

Christmas by the tree in Delaware...

How's everybody? Yeah, yeah I know, I was quiet for what seems like a long long time. Reason is: somebody handed me a surprise plane ticket for Philadelphia a day before the 24th and was hied off to a "hostage" place in Delaware. So as you may surmise, I didn't know exactly what to expect - and was pleasantly surprised that I got to go to the places I wanted to visit before the year ended. Talk about the power of "wishing." The plan really was to spend the holidays quietly at home painting, with at most a couple of nights spent dining with some friends. That was my idea of a relaxing Christmas holiday this year (besides, the previous trips this year took a toll on my bulsa, not to mention nerves - however, thank God for His peace, comfort and answered prayers!), but older sis had other ideas. She thought I'd be too lonesome if she left me alone in Toronto and forcibly shoved off the plane ticket down my throat (buti na lang there was a good deal and it turned out to be super mura) - yeah a day before we flew off to the other side of the East Coast.






This was at older sis' friend's place in Delaware, we took advantage of the Christmas eve glow and took pictures just before our noche buena, yeah while waiting for the "surprise"guests. More pics on Christmas dinner and the succeeding days later...



Yeah, yeah was expecting handsome knights in shining armour for our "surprise" guests but all we got for Christmas are a lovely pair of septuagenarian and octogenarian (tama ba spell?). Tig-isa kame ng date....wihihihihihi. Jim, the old guy beside me is super healthy and claimed to have lived a life without regrets - he was into all kinds of sports and travelled extensively with his wife. Hope he finds Jesus in his heart one of these days, this would complete his wonderful journey on this earth and beyond.

After Christmas - in New Jersey...mga larawan sa balay guid...



We had to rush to New Jersey (a mere two hours away by bus)right after Christmas and was greeted with a lovely Christmas lights display at the front house of Ralph, my he he....multi-talented "singer" of a cousin. Lovely eh?

We were greeted by a sumptous array of Christmas holiday food, which instantaneously melted my resolve to go on with my diet even during the holidays....wuhuhuhuhu. Wonderful setting....

"The English Village at Christmas" decorative set...I thought I was actually in a novelty Christmas decor store when I laid my eyes on the living room....they do love to decorate at Christmas!

Napagod nga.....hoy maga na gisingggggggggggggg.....

Basta ako ready na akong umalis, kontodo make-up pa....

Teka picture muna by the fresh Christmas tree..sayang make-up eh...

Talaga nga naman oo, ang taba!!!

Ang liwanag! Pero mukang alas nakatsamba ng matinong litrato!

Aawitannnnnnnnnnnnn kitaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....madayang magic microphone o may magic nga. Silang mga walang pagsasanay ng dekada sa choir, 94 ang iskor kahit bumabaling ang tono, ako consistently 74....!

Obvious ba? Napagod sila kakapakinig sa kanya....wihihihihihi....

Daming dessert while watching Phantom of the Opera on DVD....mango cake, ensaymada, taisan (all from red ribbon), mga binake ng super multi-talented na si cousin Chef Steve na plum cheese cake (ba yun?), ubeng galapong (ba yun?), English pudding (yung parang fruit cake na mas masarap pa sa fruit cake), Panetoni, fruit salad galore....etc...etc....asan na waistline koooooooooooooooo?

Asan na si Tito Ralph, tingin tayo ng Pinas happening peyktyurs sa computerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

Teka tatawagan ko...."hello, Pa and Ma, nakarating na kame ng mahusay...heto doble na naman ang waistline ko......ay sori, Las Vegas ang na-dial ko!"

Uyyyyyy.....pasyal ulit tayo!

Sa aking estate, este sa 23-room mansion ni Sir Thomas Edison, the inventor...lam nyo na yung telephone (si Manong A. Bell po ito) este electricity atbp.

Type ko guid the painting....nabili ni Tiyo sa France, sabi ay controversial nung araw kse provocative ang posing ni manang sa peyktyur. Si A. Anderson daw ang nagapaiting, di ko yata heard?

Lilisan na sa estate si Lavinia (of Bukas Luluhod ang mga Tala fame) este Ana Karenina at of course, moi, the long lost Emperatriz Anastasia...Dami pa peyktyurs kaso tagal download sample guid na lang hane?

Punta tayo sa Christmas Lights Parade of PNC sa Jersey City...








Dala guid kami ni Manong Ralph at Chef Steve sa downtown ng New Jersey, sa mga Pinoy stores for pasalubong to take home to Toronto...especially Red Ribbon to buy uberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr delicious (talaga lang, the best!) boxes of ensaymada (2 piraso na lang natira pag-uwi, ubos ko po sa daan), mango cake (you gotta try this!) at taisan...




Tapos, pasyal kami ni Manong Ralph at Chef Steve sa designer outlet stores sa New York. Manong Ralph declared in the car - "take whatever you want, I'll pay - Christmas gift ko sa inyo." Oh di vah? Kung ako inyo file agad for adoption papers to adopt Manong Ralph as cousin....wihihihihi....hiya talaga ako pero gusto ko guid yung gown sa Versace store (waaaaaaaaaaaaa...kakahiya nga! as in ang kafal huh!). Eh, did we take advantage of the golden opportunity and shopped 'til we dropped? Tingin na lang guid kayo sa peyktyurs!






Ay, kaon muna tayo sa Applebys...kakagutom huh! We shopped kse 'til we literally dropped! Agugoy! Libre ba naman...hehe...

And then uyyyyyyyyyyyy, nakarating ako sa Amish Land in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and made sakay in the horse and buggy! Oh say nyo? I got all my wishes come true without planning on it! So if I were you stick your good wishes in your mind and all the forces of energy surrounding you will make 'em come true by God's design...:).
